Rewards and Benefits
Joining GEO is your chance to make a real and lasting difference to the lives of prisoners, their families, and the community.
Your professional experiences will bring new perspectives to supporting prisoners with often complex and challenging behaviours.
As a member of the Programs and Services team you will be joining a diverse and experienced clinical community. Further, you’ll be part of a diverse team of professionals who share a belief in delivering Better Corrections, Creating Safer Communities - determined to make a difference in the lives of individuals with complex needs, often characterised by societal disadvantage and mental health issues.
Due to the significant size of the Programs and Services Teams at GEO, and the dynamic client cohort, clinicians will have access to a range of client presentations and interventions. There is capacity for clinicians to alternate between roles to gain access to specialised cohorts and areas of focus (e.g. indigenous, culturally and linguistically diverse, young and those with mental health presentations). There are learning opportunities that derive from working within a multi-disciplinary team.
GEO is committed to the ongoing development of its staff and will provide clinicians with access to supervision and external learning opportunities.
You will benefit from a competitive salary and rewards scheme, with opportunities to develop your skills, lead and learn in the clinical community, undertake research, collaborate and advance your career.
